LEGO has officially unveiled its LEGO Ideas Godzilla 21375 building set, a massive recreation of the King of the Monsters based on Legendary Entertainment's Monsterverse design. Built from 5,363 pieces, the model captures Godzilla's hulking frame, scaly skin, and jagged dorsal fins. It stands over 27.5 inches tall with the Heat Ray effect attached and will launch on Black Friday, November 27, 2026, for $449.99.
This towering Godzilla was originally designed by LEGO fan MattE720. The project passed the LEGO Ideas review process in 2025, while leaked box art gave collectors an early look in late October. LEGO has now revealed the complete specifications, confirming its place in the LEGO Ideas lineup and correcting the previously reported piece count from 5,360 to 5,363. The finished model retains Godzilla's thick, imposing build and long sweeping tail, while layers of differently shaped bricks create the rows of sharp dorsal fins running down his back. Even in a neutral stance, the monster has an unmistakably intimidating presence.
Godzilla's head can tilt forward and back, while the arms, wrists, and fingers feature articulation for forward-reaching claw attacks and roaring poses. The tail can also be assembled sweeping toward either the left or right. Best of all, the mouth includes a swap-out feature: remove the tongue and attach the white-to-blue Heat Ray effect to recreate Godzilla firing his signature attack skyward. Strike that pose inside a display case, and it looks like the entire city is only seconds away from destruction.
LEGO has also confirmed the accompanying 40888 Godzilla Logo and Footprint set. The 359-piece build features a giant footprint and blue movie logo, along with details such as Mothra perched atop a building. The brick-built footprint even matches the size of Godzilla's foot on the 21375 model. According to the official LEGO Store, customers who purchase the Godzilla set from November 27 through November 30 will receive this limited gift with purchase while supplies last.
