Japanese toy maker TAKARA TOMY has revealed the latest release in its hugely popular die-cast vehicle line, TOMICA. Based on the hit anime "Future GPX Cyber Formula," the new TOMICA Premium unlimited Future GPX Cyber Formula 2 MODELS Collection is scheduled for release on December 26, 2026.
The set brings back two popular models originally released in August 2025: the Asurada GSX driven by series protagonist Hayato Kazami, and the Supersonic Knight, Knight Shoemach (Osamu Sugo) behind the wheel of the Knight Savior 005. Despite their compact size, both race cars use die-cast parts to faithfully capture their sleek body lines, complete with detailed tires, air intakes, rear wings, boosters, and more.
Unlike the standard releases, this special-edition set gives both vehicles an all-new metallic color scheme. The white sections now feature a lustrous pearl-white finish, while each car’s signature blue, red, black, silver, and gold accents have also been upgraded with metallic paint for a more premium look.
