Rumors have circulated for years that Marvel Studios plans to use "Avengers: Secret Wars" to reboot the Marvel Cinematic Universe in some form, potentially recasting certain characters or bringing others back from the dead. Now, prominent entertainment scooper MyTimeToShineHello claims that two of the characters set for an overhaul are the original Ant-Man and Wasp, Hank Pym and Janet van Dyne.

According to MyTimeToShineHello, Marvel intends to introduce younger versions of Hank and Janet after "Secret Wars." That would reportedly mark the end of the road for Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer, who currently play the older incarnations of the characters, clearing the way for a new generation of actors to take over.
The scooper also claims Wolverine will be recast after "Secret Wars." Marvel Studios is reportedly developing a new solo Wolverine movie and has already attached an A-list filmmaker to direct.
