Japanese toy giant STASTO (STAND STONES) is back with another adorable entry in its popular Animal Attraction capsule toy series! Following fan-favorite releases like the Walking Shiba Inu and Walking Pomeranian, STASTO has once again teamed up with Japanese sculptor Montomi to launch the super cute new "Animal Attraction: Squishy Animals Mimicking Food" capsule toy collection. This delightful series features 6 different designs, each priced at 200 JPY per capsule, and was slated for release in October 2021.
Acclaimed animal sculptor Montomi (@shigemochi_kun) has been passionate about animal and nature-themed handmade art since childhood. In May 2016, she officially began releasing her works as a professional sculptor. Her charming and therapeutic style quickly gained viral attention on social media, leading to numerous commercial product collaborations.
The "Animal Attraction: Squishy Animals Mimicking Food" capsule toy series features figures ranging from approximately 25-50mm in size. Each piece showcases an irresistibly cute animal disguised as an everyday food item. The lineup includes six delectable designs: the Marshmallow Sandwich Seal, Soy Sauce Dango Seal, Pistachio Parrot, Caramel Bear, Water Bird Mizu Manju, and Pomeranian Steamed Bun. Every single one looks incredibly adorable and delicious!
