Buy LEGO, get LEGO! It's time for the latest LEGO Gift With Purchase (GWP) reveal. For August 2021, LEGO is offering the beautiful "LEGO 40487 Sailboat Adventure"! You can get this set for free with any LEGO purchase of $200 USD or more at official LEGO Stores. VIP members will have early access from August 1st to August 3rd, with the promotion officially running from August 4th to August 29th.
The "40487 Sailboat Adventure" set was designed by fan creator YC_SOLO, who won first place in the "BUILD THAT HOLIDAY INTO THAT HOLIDAY!" contest. Now commercialized, the set faithfully reproduces YC_SOLO's original submission with 330 pieces. It features striking large sails, a boat hull accented with golden elements, and two adorable small dolphins. While the minifigures have been updated to wear life vests, the set also includes a display base designed to evoke the feeling of the ocean, making for a fantastic display piece!
▼ It's worth noting that YC_SOLO is also a talented LEGO photographer. Interested collectors can visit his Instagram to see more of his amazing photos.
