Following the release of the Rem -Oiran Dochu- figure from the popular anime series "Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World," leading prize figure manufacturer Furyu (FURYU Corporation)'s high-quality figure brand F:NEX is now set to debut the stunning and opulent "Ram -Oiran Dochu-" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure! Priced at 23,540 JPY, pre-orders began on August 3, 2021, with an estimated release in July 2022.
Originating in the Edo period, "Oiran Dochu" refers to the elaborate procession of an Oiran, the highest-ranking courtesan of the pleasure quarters, as she elegantly walked through the streets in lavish attire, accompanied by a large retinue, to greet important guests at a designated establishment. The "Ram -Oiran Dochu-" 1/7 scale figure captures her in a dazzling and luxurious "Oiran" style, standing approximately 25 cm tall. The figure meticulously recreates the Oiran kimono with its vibrant colors and beautiful patterns, featuring elegant gold trim outlining the floral embroidery, and intricately detailed, opulent head ornaments. She wears astonishingly tall Oiran geta (wooden clogs), holds a fox mask, and displays a captivating, alluring expression that is both beautiful and moving.
