Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya has announced that the latest entry in their original robot model kit series, "FRAME ARMS," the "TYPE・HECTOR DURANDAL," is slated for release in December 2021.

The TYPE・HECTOR DURANDAL is the latest design from Wataru Inaba, known for his work on mobile suits like the Type 48 Model 1 Kagutsuchi. This unit boasts sharp, white armor and a massive, broad upper body, giving it a visually imposing, heavy presence. It's further equipped with an array of heavy armaments mounted on its hardpoints, including the longest sword-type weapon ever released in the series.
The "FRAME ARMS TYPE・HECTOR DURANDAL" utilizes the unassembled "Frame Architect Renewal Ver." universal inner frame. Its parts are molded in white, black, silver, and gold, allowing for the accurate reproduction of its distinctive white armor and gold joint colors. Each joint features articulation, with the shoulder connections for weapons boasting a four-axis movable structure, enabling rotation in various directions.

Its armaments include a shield and the kit's biggest highlight: a massive 26 cm sword-type weapon. This versatile weapon can function as both a greatsword and a giant cannon, making an impressive statement whether mounted on the shoulder or wielded in hand!
