Following the reveal of the Morphed Donatello (Black Ranger) & Morphed Leonardo (Blue Ranger) 2-pack, US toy giant Hasbro's "Lightning Collection" toy line has unveiled its second new release from the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" comic series: the "Morphed Michelangelo (Yellow Ranger) & Morphed April O’Neil (Pink Ranger)" action figure 2-pack! This set is slated for an April 2022 release.
The "MMPP – TMNT" comic series, a multi-company collaboration between Hasbro, IDW, Nickelodeon, and BOOM! Studios, brings together the two iconic IPs, Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It tells the story of the five Power Rangers teaming up with the four Ninja Turtle brothers to fight the villain Shredder and uncover the reasons behind Tommy Oliver's betrayal. These action figures are based on the Turtles' Power Ranger transformations from issue #4 of the comic. Morphed Michelangelo, as the Yellow Ranger, faithfully recreates his distinctive helmet and vibrant Ranger suit. His signature weapon, combining nunchaku and a dagger, is meticulously reproduced and can be holstered at his waist or wielded in battle with included effect parts!
Morphed April O’Neil, as the Pink Ranger, utilizes a more slender female body sculpt to accurately capture her comic book appearance. In addition to her Power Bow, she also comes with essential accessories for her role as a news reporter: a microphone and a camera! Of course, both figures in this 2-pack also include unmasked alternate head sculpts.
