BANDAI SPIRITS' prize figure brand, BANPRESTO, recently announced a brand-new collectible series called "POLIGOROID." The line is set to debut on August 25 with its first release: "Darth Vader" from the iconic "Star Wars" saga!
The POLIGOROID series reinterprets characters with a charming 2.5-head chibi proportion, while still retaining their distinctive features and intricate details. Despite varying characters, the line maintains a unified, stylized aesthetic, with figures expected to stand around 6 inches tall. The "POLIGOROID Darth Vader" figure measures approximately 14 cm, faithfully recreating his iconic helmet, dark-toned costume, and chest control panel. Furthermore, BANPRESTO has already teased the second release, a "Stormtrooper," slated for September. Collecting several Stormtroopers to pose alongside Darth Vader to form a formidable chibi army sounds incredibly fun!
