Max Factory Reveals All-New figma Fate/stay night Rider 2.0 Action Figure, Arriving July 2022!

Max Factory, the renowned Japanese manufacturer, recently announced the upcoming release of "Rider 2.0," the latest addition to their popular figma action figure series, based on the "Fate/stay night" franchise. It is slated for a July 2022 release.

The cool and captivating fan-favorite Servant, "Rider," makes her return to the figma line with an entirely new sculpt and design. This iteration is based on her most deeply portrayed appearance in the latest theatrical film series, "Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel]." Originally the Greek mythological monster "Medusa," she was summoned as a Rider-class Servant in the Fifth Holy Grail War. In the Heaven's Feel route, she plays a pivotal role, actively protecting Sakura Matou from the encroaching corruption of the Black Grail alongside Shirou Emiya. Unlike her more minor roles in the other two routes, Heaven's Feel truly showcases Rider's complex emotions and character development.

Compared to the original version released in 2011, "Rider 2.0" boasts a completely new design for its overall sculpt, articulation, materials, and paint application. Her slender, alluring physique has been meticulously sculpted. Multiple pull-out joints are incorporated to significantly expand her range of motion, while certain costume elements and her flowing long hair are crafted from a softer, more flexible material to minimize articulation interference.

The figure comes with three interchangeable face plates: a "blank expression," a "gritting teeth expression," and a "smiling expression." Her blindfold, used to seal her Mystic Eyes, is fully removable, allowing for six different display combinations. For her weapon, the "Nameless Dagger," the chain can be swapped between a real metal version for a premium feel and a PVC version for dynamic, fixed poses.
