Max Factory has officially announced the latest additions to its popular figma action figure line from the hit manga series "Kaguya-sama: Love Is War – The Geniuses' War of Love and Brains." Both Kaguya Shinomiya and Chika Fujiwara are slated for an August 2022 release.
This release brings to life the brilliant and multi-talented, yet romantically clueless, heroine Kaguya Shinomiya. Known for her high-society pride and unexpectedly adorable moments during her "love is war" battles with protagonist Miyuki Shirogane, Kaguya's many hidden facets are now captured in the articulated figma format.
A standout feature of the figma Kaguya Shinomiya is its construction. Diverging from the standard PVC used for most figma releases, her Shuchiin Academy uniform is crafted from real fabric. This not only enhances the detail and texture but also allows for greater freedom of movement and a wider range of posing possibilities!
The figure is packed with accessories to recreate your favorite scenes. It includes two types of footwear (indoor slippers and loafers), multiple interchangeable hand parts, a front hair piece with her famous cat ears, and her flip phone. She also comes with four distinct face plates: a standard expression, a scornful look, a blushing face, and a panicked expression, allowing you to recreate a variety of moments from the series!
Use the scornful face plate to recreate her signature line after imagining a victory over Shirogane: "How cute."
