Hot on the heels of the massive 2,049-piece "LEGO 76240 Batmobile Tumbler," LEGO is back with another exciting release from "The Dark Knight Trilogy." Get ready for set number 76239, the "Batmobile Tumbler: Scarecrow Showdown"! This set was slated for release on October 1, 2021.
While LEGO often releases colossal sets with high piece counts and price tags soaring past $300, leading to many "want vs. afford" memes, this new Batmobile Tumbler set is definitely one of the more accessible and value-packed options! Comprising 422 pieces, builders can construct a minifigure-scale Nolan-era Batmobile Tumbler measuring 19 cm long and 7 cm high. The exterior boasts excellent accuracy to the film's iconic vehicle, featuring an opening canopy and integrated stud shooters for dynamic play.
The set includes two fantastic minifigures: Batman and Scarecrow. Batman's printing differs from the 76240 version, featuring plain black legs. However, it comes with an absolutely awesome alternate head sculpt for Batman, depicting the nightmarish vision Scarecrow experiences after inhaling his signature Fear Gas! Scarecrow's burlap sack head sculpt also features superb printing, capturing his chilling appearance perfectly.
