In 2019, Marvel Studios' "Avengers: Endgame" premiered to massive fan anticipation. The film not only continued the narrative of 2018's "Avengers: Infinity War" but also perfectly concluded the saga ignited by the Infinity Stones. This epic narrative, woven together from 23 interconnected films, was collectively dubbed "The Infinity Saga," marking a monumental achievement for Marvel Studios. However, for collectors of the Marvel Legends series, this was just a new beginning.
Launched by internationally renowned toy manufacturer Hasbro, the Marvel Legends line has, after more than a decade of refinement, become the undisputed leader in 1:12 scale Marvel action figures. Its extensive roster spans characters from comics, animation, TV series, and films, making its character selection arguably the broadest among all brands. The 6-inch scale, combined with rich articulation and optional accessories, makes these figures perfect for both hands-on play and dynamic scene creation, or simply as standalone display pieces. Furthermore, the recent adoption of advanced Photo Real Technology has infused the head sculpts of live-action characters with incredibly lifelike detail. From every perspective, the Marvel Legends series remains an incredibly worthwhile and value-packed choice.

Recently, Marvel Legends unveiled ten new "Infinity Saga" sub-series action figures, commemorating the grand narrative from its 2008 starting point, "Iron Man," all the way to the Phase Three conclusion, "Spider-Man: Far from Home." This collection not only brings previously unreleased fan-favorite characters to life but also updates and re-creates the in-show appearances of several key figures. For collectors of Marvel movie figures, this is an unexpected blessing. Now, let's dive in and revisit the Infinity Saga, as interpreted by Hasbro!
▼ The stars of this unboxing: eight characters across a total of six Marvel Legends figure boxes!

▼ The sides of the packaging feature laser printing, showcasing the "Infinity Saga" logo and iconic character portraits.

▼ The back of the box includes character bios, with a finely printed character emblem in the background.

▼ The inner packaging also features emblems of various characters.

▼ "Iron Man Mark III," from 2008's "Iron Man." As a pivotal turning point that revitalized Marvel Studios, "Iron Man" is undoubtedly one of its most crucial foundational successes. This classic Mark III suit is also one of the most memorable Iron Man armors from the film, not only establishing the live-action Iron Man aesthetic but also introducing the character to a wider audience unfamiliar with Marvel. Both in-story and in reality, it holds an undeniable, paramount status.

▼ An improvement over his previous two armors, the Mark III is arguably Tony Stark's most proud creation. Powered by the Arc Reactor in Tony's chest, this gold-titanium alloy armor not only features a variety of integrated weaponry but also boasts supersonic flight capabilities. This figure is an all-new sculpt, coming with an alternate head sculpt, two pairs of hands, and two weapon accessories.

▼ Included is a Tony Stark head sculpt with the mask partially open, featuring Photo Real Technology printing to faithfully recreate Robert Downey Jr.'s facial features. For Robert Downey Jr., who portrayed Tony, the Iron Man role was not just a reflection of his real life but also a turning point that propelled his acting career to another peak.

The chest Arc Reactor utilizes a printed design to simulate a glowing effect, appearing quite realistic from a distance. While the red sections are molded in their base plastic color, the metallic finish is remarkably well-replicated.

Notably, the hip joints feature a pull-down mechanism.

This allows for easy achievement of the iconic "Superhero Landing" pose!

Unlike previous figures, the palms do not have a central peg hole, meaning it can't equip older effect parts. However, this design choice results in a much more natural look.

The outer right forearm can be swapped with a mini-missile attachment.

Alternatively, it can be equipped with a defensive gauntlet, featuring exquisitely sculpted details.

"The truth is... I am Iron Man!" This line instantly brings to mind the thrilling, classic quote from the film's ending!

The "Obadiah Stane & Iron Monger" two-pack, also inspired by the first "Iron Man" movie, finally arrives. As the film's primary antagonist, Obadiah, in his Iron Monger suit, was not only Iron Man's first major foe but also the mastermind behind Tony's transformation into the armored hero. This two-pack is sure to satisfy collectors' long-held desires, delivering a complete experience in one go.

Fans have waited an eternity for a figure of this cunning, ambitious villain. Even though it reuses a familiar suited body, the character's significance alone makes it an essential addition to any collection!

The head sculpt perfectly captures Oscar winner Jeff Bridges' on-screen appearance, with his subtly sinister gaze offering plenty for fans to appreciate.

Accessories include the Arc Reactor extracted from Tony's chest and an opening briefcase. As a side note, the right hand is a brand-new sculpt – did you notice the pinky ring (jokingly referred to as an "anti-villain" ring)?

The tie's pattern is also reproduced via printing. While the base body isn't groundbreaking, Obadiah remains a crucial character and a worthwhile acquisition.

Manipulating Stark Industries and its young heir with ease, it just goes to show that the older, more experienced villain always has the upper hand!

The movie-accurate Iron Monger, boasting both the size and heft of a Build-A-Figure (BAF), has finally arrived! Its all-new sculpt is designed to perfectly capture its overwhelming on-screen presence, combining highly accurate detailing with robust articulation, making it an absolute must-have from this wave!

The chest Arc Reactor features a double-layered structure, with a clear outer piece covering it.

The right arm's machine gun can be posed with firing effects and ejecting shell casings, or a smoke effect can be attached to the muzzle.

The left arm faithfully recreates the mini-missile launcher.

Most impressive are the two simulated hydraulic lines on the back, which articulate in conjunction with the shoulder joints. As the shoulders move back and forth, you can clearly see the hydraulic lines in action – it's truly fantastic!

Unscrupulous in his methods and unethical in his actions, that is the Iron Monger's creed.

The ejecting shell casing effects are incredibly dynamic, almost making you hear the machine gun's rapid fire.

Even with its imposing size, Iron Monger boasts impressive articulation. With two pairs of interchangeable hands, a wide range of expressive poses can be achieved.

Posing it alongside the Mark III truly highlights the significant size difference between the two armors.

The climactic battle from the end of the movie can finally be recreated with these Marvel Legends figures. What are you waiting for, Iron Man fans? Grab them now!

First up is "Odin," from the 2011 film "Thor." Drawing from Norse mythology, Odin is the Allfather of Asgard, father of Thor, and adoptive father of Loki, exuding regal wisdom and authority in every gesture. This figure marks the Marvel Legends series' first-ever three-dimensional rendition of the cinematic Odin. It includes two interchangeable head sculpts, two hand types, a wearable horned helmet, and a scepter.

The figure boasts an all-new sculpt, faithfully recreating his magnificent armored appearance from the film, with the red cape showcasing excellent drapery.

Utilizing advanced printing technology to capture Anthony Hopkins' likeness, the two head sculpts feature distinct expressions. Only the stern-faced head can wear the helmet. Interestingly, the kindly smiling head sculpt bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain meme-worthy elderly gentleman...

A pair of gripping hands is included, allowing him to hold the scepter in either hand.

While a solid, if not groundbreaking, release, it's a rare opportunity to get a 6-inch figure of this character. For those of us looking to complete the Thor family collection, this is definitely a must-have!

Next up is the "Happy Hogan & Iron Man Mark XXI" two-pack, inspired by 2013's "Iron Man 3." Both characters are making their Marvel Legends debut.

Tony Stark's long-time confidant and friend, Happy served as his driver, bodyguard, and Head of Security for Stark Industries, earning Tony's complete trust. To accurately portray his on-screen physique, this figure introduces a brand-new suit body sculpt with a more "dad-bod" build, a mold we might see reused for future characters.

The head sculpt perfectly captures Jon Favreau's likeness and spirit. For fellow Marvel fans, it's well-known that Favreau was the director who launched the entire "Iron Man" series. If "Iron Man" was the turning point for Marvel Studios, then it's no exaggeration to say Jon Favreau was the greatest unsung hero behind its success.

His sole accessory is a smartphone, with all its screen details rendered via printing.

"Me, fumbling with a smartphone for the first time."

"Me, getting chewed out by my boss over trivial matters."

Behold, the suited body molds! It's truly cause for celebration that Hasbro went to the effort of creating this new "middle-aged dad" body type!

The Iron Man Mark XXI, codenamed "Midas," takes its name from the Greek mythological king who turned everything he touched to gold. Designed for specialized flight capabilities, the Mark XXI is crafted from gold-titanium alloy, sharing the same external appearance as the Mark VII but boasting a more dazzling gold finish. As a member of the Iron Legion, the Mark XXI didn't have a particularly prominent role in "Iron Man 3." This figure is a repaint of the Marvel Studios 10th Anniversary Mark VII.

It includes translucent blue effect parts, which can be attached to the open-palm hands to recreate firing poses.

The four small wing flaps on its back can be freely deployed, allowing for takeoff and flight poses.

The effect parts can also be attached to the soles of its feet, offering versatile display options.

Finally, we have "Quicksilver," whose real name is Pietro Maximoff. He appeared alongside his twin sister, Wanda Maximoff, in 2015's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." After enduring war in their homeland and losing their family, Pietro and Wanda voluntarily became test subjects for Hydra, gaining super-speed abilities from the Mind Stone within Loki's scepter. They later joined the Avengers to fight Ultron, with Pietro ultimately sacrificing himself to protect Hawkeye. This cinematic version of Quicksilver is an all-new sculpt, a figure long-awaited by countless fans. At last, this ill-fated twin can be reunited with his sister in the Marvel Legends series!
Hasbro's Marvel Legends Infinity Saga Line Delivers Speed and Fire with Quicksilver and Surtur Figures!
The figure perfectly recreates his signature athletic attire from the film. The intricate texture of the three-dimensional mesh is meticulously rendered, and the subtle muscle definition on the upper body is quite impressive.

The head sculpt utilizes photo-realistic technology to capture the essence of actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, with his subtle stubble and salt-and-pepper hair rendered with excellent detail.

In addition to two pairs of interchangeable hands, the box also includes three shattered Ultron parts, allowing collectors to create dynamic display options.

Thanks to the figure's extensive articulation, you can effortlessly achieve full-speed running poses!

"You didn't see that coming?" (Wanda's breakdown)

"Maximoff, assemble!!" The Maximoff twins can finally be united in scale! Collectors who picked up Wanda previously definitely won't want to miss out on her brother!

Next up is Surtur, the formidable fire giant from 2017's "Thor: Ragnarok." Drawing inspiration from the Norse mythological figure Surtr, ruler of Muspelheim, he was defeated by Odin a millennium ago. Now, after five millennia, he returns to bring the cataclysmic "Ragnarok" to Asgard. This figure marks the Marvel Legends series' first-ever three-dimensional rendition of Surtur, utilizing an imposing 12-inch scale to recreate the unquenchable fire demon.

Just the packaging alone conveys the immense presence of this colossal figure.

Translucent material combined with meticulous paintwork is used throughout the figure to recreate the scorching heat of his eternal flames. When illuminated, it displays a beautiful array of colors. The figure's body is a re-sculpt based on previously released Marvel Legends 12-inch figure bodies, and its articulation is in no way inferior to that of 6-inch figures.

His ferocious roaring expression is captured with superb detail, both in texture and coloring.

The massive Twilight Sword is crafted in a similar fashion to the main body, creating an incredibly cohesive look, as if it extends directly from Surtur's fiery form.

Worried about articulation? Don't be! Dynamic poses, like wielding his massive sword with both hands, are no problem at all!

Heroic poses are also perfectly achievable!

A millennium of resentment, a fury ready to ignite! The god-slaying, world-ending Ragnarok has finally arrived!
