A special giveaway item from the 2020 Gundam Exhibition.
Its clever design is immediately apparent at first glance.
If you didn't notice, the instruction manual clearly states that the runner is designed after the iconic Gundam logo!!
Such a thoughtful design felt too good to waste.
So, I decided to preserve the 'G' shape of the runner and arrange it into a unique display piece.
↑ First, remove the parts you want to separate, then apply primer.
↑ Mask off the areas that are easy to cover, then spray paint.
↑ I spray-painted red and gray; the remaining smaller areas needed hand-painting.
↑ Ta-da! After hand-painting and panel lining, it looks fantastic!!
↑ Finally, find a suitable frame.
Arrange it according to your preferred layout
and secure it in place.
A beautiful decorative piece is complete~~~
I've always wanted to create a display that incorporates the runners, and this creatively designed frame was the perfect opportunity to finally do it.
