Hey everyone!
This time, I'm excited to share my thoughts on the S.H.MonsterArts Zinogre.
Simply put, the sculpt is excellent, boasting sharp and intricate details. The fur treatment, in particular, is much better than I expected, avoiding a clumpy look that often obscures finer points. The scales on its body also feature varying sizes and intricate textures. The paint application is quite good overall; it's not a single flat color. There's a base coat with an overlay, creating a subtle gradient effect. Even the claws have a yellowish, translucent gradient. While the general paintwork is solid, it's a bit disappointing in the head area, specifically with the teeth and eyes. The eyes are barely visible and lack definition, and the teeth show some noticeable paint bleed. Of course, this could be an individual QC variation.
As for accessories, it only includes a display stand and some interchangeable parts. Personally, I think the stand is well-made, but for the price point, the accessories feel a bit sparse. In conclusion, it's a very cool figure, but the value for money isn't particularly high.
