Over the course of a single day on the streets of Los Angeles, three lives are about to change forever.

In this pulse-pounding, action-packed thriller from billion-dollar director and producer Michael Bay, decorated veteran Will Sharp (Emmy winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, "Candyman," "The Matrix Resurrections") is desperate to cover his wife's medical bills. He turns to the one person he knows he shouldn't: his adoptive brother Danny (Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal, "Zodiac," "Spider-Man: Far From Home"). Instead of lending him money, Danny, a charismatic career criminal, offers a proposition: a $32 million bank heist, the biggest in Los Angeles history. With his wife's life on the line, Will can't say no.

But when their getaway plan goes spectacularly wrong, the desperate adoptive brothers hijack an ambulance with a critically wounded police officer and a top-tier EMT, Cam Thompson (Eiza González, "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw," "Baby Driver"), on board. A high-speed chase then ensues, forcing Will and Danny to evade the relentless pursuit of the LAPD, keep their hostages alive, and try not to kill each other, all while attempting to pull off the most unprecedented escape Los Angeles has ever seen.

Producers for "Ambulance" include Michael Bay and Bradley Fischer ("Zodiac," "Shutter Island") for New Republic Pictures; James Vanderbilt ("Zodiac," 2022's "Scream") and William Sherak ("Ready or Not," 2022's "Scream") for Project X Entertainment; and Academy Award nominee Ian Bryce ("Transformers" franchise, "Saving Private Ryan").

The screenplay is by Chris Fedak ("Prodigal Son," "Chuck"), based on the original story and screenplay for the 2005 Danish film "Ambulance" by Laurits Munch-Petersen and Lars Andreas Pedersen.
