Bandai Spirits' Tamashii Nations, a leading collector's toy division in Japan, is set to release a new S.H.Figuarts action figure. Following the highly anticipated S.H.Figuarts TECH-ON AVENGERS Iron Man, the popular S.H.Figuarts line continues its collaboration with Marvel's "TECH-ON AVENGERS" series, announcing the upcoming "S.H.Figuarts TECH-ON AVENGERS Captain America," slated for release in May 2022!
The "TECH-ON AVENGERS" comic, a new six-issue limited series, is a unique collaboration between Marvel Comics and Bandai Spirits. Penned by Jim Zub, known for "Avengers: No Surrender," the series draws inspiration from Japanese Tokusatsu culture. Acclaimed Japanese manga artist Eiichi Shimizu, celebrated for his work on the "ULTRAMAN" manga, contributes cover illustrations and new armor designs for the project.
The story is set one year after the destruction of the Infinity Stones. Unstable Infinity Stone particles have left a lingering trace across the universe, and under the manipulation of the Red Skull, Earth's heroes find themselves stripped of their powers, plunging the world into chaos... To combat this threat, Tony Stark develops brand-new power suits for the Avengers, empowering them to launch their counterattack!

The "S.H.Figuarts TECH-ON AVENGERS Captain America" action figure features an entirely new body sculpt, incorporating METAL BUILD-level articulation to achieve unprecedented poseability. To capture the distinctive metallic texture of the armored suit, special die-cast materials are utilized, enhancing both the articulation and stability of the knee joints. Based on the currently revealed product images, in addition to Captain America's classic red, white, and blue color scheme and shield, the figure can also replicate the "DH-10" mode, a signature feature of the TECH-ON AVENGERS, using included weapon parts!
Joining the fray as Super Captain America, his battle suit is also equipped with Iron Man's flight capabilities, which can be recreated using jet effect parts for his hands and feet! Furthermore, the shield incorporates a newly developed, patent-pending Japanese technology, allowing it to combine with effect parts for more dynamic posing and a wider range of combat styles!
Finally, the "DH-10" mode weapon parts integrate the Vibranium shield into the armor, creating a fresh new look. This evolved armor also features reinforced arms, from the shoulders to the forearms and fists, showcasing significantly enhanced offensive power!
