Hello everyone, today I'm excited to unbox and share the Megahouse Variable Action Future GPX Cyber Formula SIN ν-Asurada AKF-0/G Livery Edition.
The "Future GPX Cyber Formula" series holds a significant place in my childhood memories. My father originally introduced me to it, taking me to video rental stores to watch every episode. I also collected all the official pull-back car toys from the series. Whenever my parents asked what reward I wanted, it was always these cars. I still vividly remember one time when a department store was having a closing sale, and my parents let me buy all the remaining cars I hadn't acquired yet. Those memories are unforgettable!
There are quite a few versions of the Asurada, and today I'm showcasing the final animated version: the ν-Asurada AKF-0/G, a collaboration between Hayato Kazami's SUGO team and GIO. The "AKF" in its name cleverly stands for Asurada, Kazami, and Fortran, a fitting abbreviation that feels perfectly natural for a racing machine.
Today's focus is the Livery Edition, which, simply put, is a pre-painted version. Previously, products in this series often featured very plain paint schemes. This time, the manufacturer has directly released a meticulously painted version, which is a godsend for clumsy modelers like me who are clueless about customization. The level of completion right out of the box is incredibly high. Why didn't they do this sooner?

The outer packaging for this series consistently features the same style. A transparent window allows buyers to see the main model directly, while the rest of the box is adorned with various technical specifications and background information about the vehicle.

Contents:
The accessories are minimal, including only the interchangeable parts for the series' signature "Lifting Turn" maneuver and a small Hayato Kazami pilot figure.

Main Body Overview

Detailing:
You can see that this Livery Edition isn't just about adding sponsor logos; the entire color scheme is much more refined and intricate.

Interchangeable parts for the vehicle's transformed state during a Lifting Turn.
This represents the "black technology" of the original series: a fluid metal transformation system.

Hayato Kazami Figure:
Skillful hobbyists can paint this figure themselves.

The series always includes a display base and a screw to secure the vehicle to it. Each base is inscribed with the car's name and information, significantly enhancing its collectible appeal.

That pretty much covers the contents! Driven by childhood nostalgia and my passion for the series, I essentially collect every release in this line. Even for what some might consider cash-grab metallic color variations, I dutifully pre-order them. So, to wrap things up, I'd like to share my current collection from this series.

Some might wonder why I haven't collected the fully transformable versions. Frankly, they don't appeal to me as much; I'd probably only handle them for unboxing photos before displaying them in a fixed mode in the cabinet. Initially, I even collected the smaller CFC line, but I later decided it wasn't necessary to collect every single series, so I ended up selling them off.
