Starring Academy Award winner Jared Leto, Sony Pictures' latest dark legend, "Morbius," has just dropped its ultimate trailer. The film follows "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and "Venom" in Sony's universe of Marvel heroes. Leto shared his experience, stating, "My character, Michael Morbius, undergoes an incredibly wide range of transformations, from his most vulnerable state to becoming explosive, even like a beast. It's a fascinating challenge. This film isn't just about action and fight scenes; it also places high demands on the character's mental and physical state. As he grapples with his suffering, he also confronts different choices, much like the process of overcoming addiction. It's a holistic experience."
Director Daniel Espinosa also expressed immense satisfaction with Leto's performance. "Jared Leto is one in a million, perfectly suited to play Morbius. It was a fated choice, truly an act of destiny!" Espinosa continued, "Jared is not just a beautiful actor; he arrives on set fully prepared, completely immersed in the character. He approaches the role in his own unique way, and it was truly surprising to witness him bring out the emotional depth of Michael Morbius. He maintained strong determination from start to finish, not just as an actor, but also as a colleague and partner."

Addressing his role as a dark hero, Jared Leto commented, "He undergoes a darker transformation within the Marvel universe, and fortunately, fans have embraced it, because everyone loves a good monster story." Director Espinosa further elaborated on Morbius's drive to use his darker side for good: "This motivation to do good allows Morbius to recognize his newfound powers and fuels his daily quest to find a cure, no matter the personal cost." Espinosa added, "Most great heroes are dark heroes, and we often resist accepting that we are the chosen ones. Morbius is no different."
The film "Morbius" is set to hit theaters on April 1st!
