Hey everyone, today I'm excited to share an unboxing of the Hot Toys "Wonder Woman 1984" Golden Eagle Armor DX Version!
If you've seen "Wonder Woman 1984," you'll definitely remember this iconic armor. While its screen time was brief, the full golden suit and those incredibly impactful wings make it truly unforgettable.
Hot Toys released two versions: a Regular Edition and a Deluxe Edition. The main difference is that the Deluxe Edition includes an additional pair of fully spread wings. Honestly, displaying the wings fully extended creates an incredible presence, but they are also a massive space hog. So, after finishing this review, I've honestly put the fully spread wings back into storage. LOL.
Regarding the head sculpt, which I know is a major concern for many, I'm not afraid of being criticized for buying a potentially flawed product. This head sculpt is very angle-dependent; from the right angle, it looks absolutely stunning. However, from other angles, it can leave you scratching your head...

I believe the box art design is the same for both the Regular and Deluxe Editions. The Deluxe box is simply larger to accommodate the fully spread wings I mentioned earlier.

Contents
The large wings are stored on the bottom layer.

Figure Overview
The overall color scheme truly makes this figure pop in any display case.

Details
Here's the head sculpt; you can judge for yourselves. Personally, I think it looks best when viewed straight on, meeting its gaze. From other angles, it's quite ordinary. While the rooted hair design offers a more realistic look, it can be a bit troublesome for someone like me who isn't great at styling.

The entire suit features a golden color scheme. However, the numerous intricate line designs prevent it from looking too monotonous. Additionally, because the figure is encased in a full-body bodysuit, its articulation is somewhat restricted.

Helmet
Due to the rooted hair, you'll need to style it before putting on the helmet and again after taking it off.

Hand accessories and the Lasso of Truth.

These are the folded wing accessories, which also come with the Regular Edition. They allow for a small degree of posing.

And these are the Deluxe Edition exclusive wings – they're absolutely massive! Once attached, the upper body becomes very heavy, making it difficult to pose the figure dynamically. You're mostly limited to minor adjustments.

The display base features a pretty good design. The stand also includes two additional metal supports to help bear the weight of the wings.

That concludes the overview of the contents! The main drawbacks are the angle-dependent head sculpt and limited articulation. If you can overlook these points, and pose it correctly in your display, it's still a fantastic figure. And if you have enough space, displaying the Deluxe version with its fully spread wings is truly an eye-catching centerpiece!
