Following the LINEBARREL and EX LINEBARREL releases from Japanese model manufacturer Sentinel's popular alloy action figure series 'RIOBOT', it was recently announced at the WonHobbyG 2022 Spring new model exhibition that two more mechs from 'Linebarrels of Iron', "LINEBARREL OVERLORD" and "LINEBARREL AMAGATSU", will be commercialized.
The two LINEBARREL forms announced this time are new evolutions that change with the story's progression. The jet-black armored "LINEBARREL AMAGATSU" represents LINEBARREL's true form, with its entire armor displaying a dark hue when piloted by the heroine Emi's father, the true LINEBARREL pilot, Kizaki Tenji. The entirely crimson "LINEBARREL OVERLORD" is the assimilated form of Hayase Kouichi and LINEBARREL after Kouichi becomes LINEBARREL's true pilot,
Both new products fundamentally utilize the previously released LINEBARREL base body, featuring new paint colors and newly designed weapon accessories, such as LINEBARREL OVERLORD's impressive fabric cape on its back. Detailed product information is expected to be released in late June 2022.
