Japanese manga artist and character design master Shinji Nishikawa is known for his character designs for Toho tokusatsu films and Godzilla monsters, having participated in the character design for works such as Godzilla 2000, Biollante, Kiryu (Type-3 Mechagodzilla), and the Choseishin series. In recent years, he has been involved in monster design for the anime "SSSS.GRIDMAN" and supervised the "Type-3 Mechagodzilla" model kit, also illustrating its box art.
