Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) recently announced the latest product from the popular mobile game 《Uma Musume Pretty Derby》, the 「[Show off your dreams] Tokai Teio 1/7 Scale Figure」, scheduled for release in December 2022.
The highly popular Uma Musume Tokai Teio (トウカイテイオー), who starred as the protagonist in the second season of the anime, is based on the Japanese racehorse of the same name, known as the "Miracle Horse" in the early 1990s. After her debut, she immediately achieved an undefeated double crown but lost the Triple Crown and two Tenno Sho races due to multiple fractures. From then on, despite repeated losses and injuries, she continued to challenge after recovery. This 「Tokai Teio 1/7 Scale Figure」 from Kotobukiya is based on the illustration from the in-game support card 「Show off your dreams（夢は掲げるものなのだっ！）」, bringing to life Tokai Teio with an energetic expression, raising her hand to form a "three" gesture to symbolize her Triple Crown dream. The product meticulously sculpts her dynamic hair and tail, as well as the cape and tassels of her racing uniform, showcasing Teio's cool and cute charm. The trophy-shaped base further echoes Teio's outstanding achievements on the racetrack.
