To commemorate the grand reopening of its directly managed flagship store, "TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO," on June 23, 2022, BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division, TAMASHII NATIONS, will release the commemorative product "S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider New 2 50th Anniversary Ver.," scheduled for release on June 21.
Operating since April 2019 next to Don Quijote Akihabara in Akihabara, Japan, 'TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO' is TAMASHII NATIONS' directly managed flagship store for product sales and new item displays. In the future, the store will not only relocate next to JR Akihabara Station but also expand its size by approximately three times. The store will feature three major zones: the "EVENT ZONE" for special exhibitions, the "NEW ITEM ZONE" for displaying and test-playing new products, and the "SHOP ZONE" for selling exclusive merchandise, ensuring visitors have an even more enjoyable experience!
The commemorative product, "S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider New 2 50th Anniversary Ver.," utilizes parts from the previously released standard version, featuring flexible articulation and faithfully recreating the actor's physique and costume from the show. From the delicate antenna on the helmet, the flowing red scarf, to the windmill structure of the transformation belt, every detail is meticulously reproduced. The head and chest paintwork have been updated to vibrant colors that align with recent imagery, and it can be posed in Kamen Rider New 2's powerful combat stances with various interchangeable hand parts. This version also includes a special display stand featuring the 50th Anniversary LOGO of the "Kamen Rider" series.
