To commemorate the grand reopening of its directly managed flagship store "TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO" on June 23, 2022, BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS will release a commemorative product from its popular S.H.Figuarts series, based on "Dragon Ball Super": "S.H.Figuarts Son Goku Ultra Instinct -Sign-". It will have a suggested retail price of 6,050 JPY and is scheduled for release in June 2022.
The "Ultra Instinct -Sign-" is a new, powerful form awakened by Goku during intense battles in the "Dragon Ball Super" anime, where he breaks through his limits. In addition to enhanced speed and power, it possesses the attribute of "body reaction," allowing various parts of his body to automatically perform reflexive movements, transcending self-awareness, unlike previous fighting styles that relied on sensing ki. Aesthetically, besides emitting a silver glow and a change in hair color, his eyes also transform into a brighter silver hue.
The "S.H.Figuarts Son Goku Ultra Instinct -Sign-" articulated figure stands approximately 14 cm tall. It features newly sculpted face parts that faithfully recreate the powerful silver pupils of his Ultra Instinct -Sign- form. Included are interchangeable parts such as a serious normal face, a closed-eyes face, a battle-cry face, and a gritted-teeth face. Combined with the pearlescent special hair color and meticulously sculpted battle damage, including torn clothing details, the figure exudes an intense aura! Additionally, three types of interchangeable left and right hand gestures are included, allowing for dynamic poses such as the Kamehameha!
