Max Factory, a Japanese model manufacturer, has once again announced the latest limited-edition product in its new bishoujo plastic model series, "Guilty Princess," a collaboration with popular illustrator Tony, under the highly diverse and popular assembly model brand "PLAMAX." This new item is the "Maidroid Miao Antique Ver." and is scheduled to be available for purchase starting August 6, 2022, at the GOODSMILE Online Shop and during the two-day live event "Smile Fest 2022."
The original series "Guilty Princess" is PLAMAX's first bishoujo plastic model kit, featuring "battle maidens" with fairy tale and mythological elements designed by illustrator Tony, who has contributed to character designs for numerous "Shining" series titles. The kit leverages the production experience of the figma action figure series, offering both an impressive range of articulation and beautiful body curves, showcasing the feminine grace, sexiness, and cuteness of the female characters.
The limited-edition "Maidroid Miao Antique Ver." is based on the previously released standard version, with its molded colors replaced by classical tones such as copper red, dark green, khaki, and off-white, adding more elegance to Tony's delicate design. The entire body features flexible movable joints, and key areas are made from softer PVC parts, further enhancing the range of articulation.
The abundant accessories are the same as the standard version, including three interchangeable facial expressions: "Smiling Face," "Shouting Face," and "Smiling Face II." Unpainted face parts and eye decals are also included for players to create their own expressions. For the hair, there are "Twin Tail Parts (×2)," "Ribbons (×2)," "Hair Buns (×2)," and "Replacement Front Hair Parts," allowing for at least four or more hairstyles such as ponytail, twin tails, short hair, and short hair with bangs. The broom-type weapon, "Mobile Cannon Broom Shotgun," and "Energy Bullet" can also be combined with the separately sold "Maidroid Chloe Antique Ver." to form the "Combined Heavy Particle Cannon Cyclone Cannon."
