Japan's renowned blind box toy manufacturer RE-MENT has once again launched a new 'Detective Conan' themed blind box collection. Titled 'Everyday Items Collection Vol. 2' (名探偵コナン 小さくなった日常コレクション2), it features various items used by Conan and other characters in the original work. The collection includes eight designs and is scheduled for release in July 2022.
On April 15, 2022, the 25th theatrical film in the 'Detective Conan' series, "The Bride of Halloween," premiered in Japan. The story unfolds with an incident at a wedding, where a mysterious bomber appears and causes a major commotion. The film is also scheduled to be released in Taiwan on June 30, 2022. Currently, a pop-up store has been set up at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Xinyi Store, offering fans an opportunity to enjoy close encounters with Conan and other characters.
This 'Detective Conan Everyday Items Collection' blind box series by RE-MENT is the second installment. It also features eight different items, with each one containing several props or objects that appeared in the original work. These include Conan's small detective hat, Professor Agasa's inventions, Conan's special functional shoes, a soccer ball, and other items like Amuro Tooru's café apron, waffles, and a laptop. Every single item is undoubtedly a classic prop whose origin is well-known to all Conan fans.
