Max Factory, a Japanese model manufacturer, has once again announced the latest product in its popular assembly model brand 『PLAMAX』, which boasts a rich variety of themes. This new bishoujo model kit series, 『Guilty Princess』, is a collaboration with popular illustrator Tony, and its latest item, "GP-04 Underwear Body Ran," is scheduled for release in February 2023.
The original series 『Guilty Princess』 is PLAMAX's first bishoujo model kit, featuring "battle girls" with fairy tale and mythological elements designed by illustrator Tony, who has contributed to character designs for numerous "Shining" series titles. The kit leverages the production experience of the figma series of articulated figures, delivering both a wide range of articulation and beautiful body curves, showcasing the feminine softness, sexiness, and cuteness of female characters.
The fourth character in the series, Ran, is female prisoner number 101, clad only in a set of underwear. With her cold demeanor, she demonstrates exquisite Japanese sword skills in the inhumane underground arena. The model faithfully reproduces the elegant curves of her body and the sexy lace patterns on her underwear through molded parts, allowing for the assembly of a Ran that combines both articulation and soft, aesthetic styling.
In addition to multiple PVC-molded hand parts and interchangeable face parts such as "normal face," "smiling face," "focused face," and "angry shy face," the kit also includes unpainted face parts and eye decals, allowing players to create their preferred expressions. Furthermore, it comes with 3 types of ball-jointed neck parts (4mm, 5mm, and 6mm ball joints), enabling head and body swaps with characters from the 『Guilty Princess』 and 『God Order』 series.
For weaponry, she wields the "Gokumon-tou Murasame" (Prison Gate Sword Murasame), which is divided into a blade and a sheath, allowing for the recreation of drawing poses. Also included are "leg shackles" and an "iron ball" to signify her prisoner status, with the connecting chain made from metal parts. Additionally, "bare legs" and "crossed legs" parts are provided for replacement, allowing for the recreation of her charming un-socked legs or a bold, cross-legged sitting pose.
