Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE officially announced their brand new completed monster figure series, "MONSTERS CHRONICLE," today at the opening of 'ANIME EXPO 2022' in Los Angeles, USA. The first wave of products will feature three popular monsters from the popular card game Yu-Gi-Oh!: Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Red-Eyes Black Dragon, and Insect Queen. Release dates are yet to be determined.
Based on the product prototypes revealed so far, the MONSTERS CHRONICLE figures are significantly smaller in scale compared to the previously released ART WORKS MONSTERS series. This makes them more suitable for collectors with limited display space. They still capture the monsters' charm with dynamic poses and bases. The advantage is that the price will likely be considerably lower than ART WORKS MONSTERS, but the richness of detail and sharpness might be slightly inferior to larger products, requiring collectors to weigh their options.
Currently, the product prototypes for Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Insect Queen are on display at 'ANIME EXPO 2022.' Red-Eyes Black Dragon, along with the full scope of the MONSTERS CHRONICLE series, will be unveiled on July 23rd and 30th at 'MEGAHOBBY EXPO' in Japan.
