Max Factory, a Japanese model manufacturer, recently announced the latest product in its popular assembly model brand 'PLAMAX', which boasts a rich variety of themes: the "MF-62 Minori with Honda Compact Snow Blower HSS1170n (JX)", scheduled for release in February 2023.
This product is the latest work combining an original bishoujo character drawn by Shunya Yamashita with real-world mechanical equipment. The cute and energetic short-haired girl for winter is named "Minori", dressed in a very warm beanie, down jacket, and snow boots. Both the fluffy textures and wrinkles are meticulously reproduced through molded parts, offering the option to assemble her with or without a scarf. An accompanying seasonal snowman model is also included.
This compact snow blower "HSS1170n (JX)", developed and manufactured by Honda Motor Co., Ltd., boasts a large displacement for efficient snow removal and is also produced with multi-color molded parts. During prototype development, the actual machine's internal and external structures were thoroughly studied, and the visible parts' shapes, especially the complex impeller utilizing CROSS AUGER technology, were completely recreated through precise part division. Additionally, the product will include water-slide decals to reproduce the snow blower's various logos and model designations.
