Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company, under its immensely popular "every draw wins a prize" 'Ichiban Kuji' brand, recently announced the full lineup for "Ichiban Kuji Winnie the Pooh Original Work 95th Anniversary," new merchandise commemorating the birth of Winnie the Pooh, scheduled to launch on July 6, 2022.

Winnie the Pooh was born on Christmas Eve in London, England, in 1925. A.A. Milne, inspired by his son's teddy bear, created this yellow bear who plays and explores with his friends in the forest, and his image was illustrated by E.H. Shepard. Three storybooks were published between 1926 and 1928, and Winnie from this period is known as "Classic Pooh." After Milne's death in 1956, his widow sold the character rights to Stephen Slesinger. After Stephen Slesinger's death, the rights were then sold to Disney for reimagining, which is how the "Winnie the Pooh" image, familiar to most people today, wearing a red shirt, came into being.

The "Ichiban Kuji Winnie the Pooh Original Work 95th Anniversary" features Disney's Winnie the Pooh as its theme, incorporating character designs and iconic scenes from the animation into the design of each prize. This includes the A Prize figure that recreates Winnie's butt-bursting iconic scene, the B Prize classic bee costume Winnie plush, the LAST ONE Prize Winnie commemorative plush wearing a party hat, as well as practical lifestyle goods such as floor mats, small plates, towels, mugs, and rubber charms!
