Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE's popular character-catification series, 'MEGA CAT PROJECT,' recently showcased its latest product based on "Attack on Titan," titled "Attack on Nyan: Survey Corps Assemble, Nyan!," with an anticipated release in late December 2022.
MEGA CAT PROJECT is a mini-figure series that combines popular characters from Japanese anime and manga with adorable cat designs. Each character stands approximately 3 cm tall and is designed in collaboration with illustrator TAMPOPO, known for their expertise in drawing chibi characters and cartoon-style cats. Unlike typical designs where character elements often outweigh cat features, TAMPOPO's style largely preserves the cat's image, with only the character's clothing and accessories added. Through similar breeds, fur colors, and facial expressions, the designs cleverly evoke the original characters.
This latest release, "Attack on Nyan: Survey Corps Assemble, Nyan!," will feature 8 characters transformed into cat forms. From their fur color, expressions, and other characteristic hints, these cats can be identified as Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Sasha, Erwin, Levi, and Hange. Each cat also wears the corresponding Survey Corps uniform, making for incredibly cute designs!
