To celebrate the anime adaptation of the impactful JUMP serialization "Me & Roboco," Japanese model maker Sen-Ti-Nel (株式会社千値練)'s popular alloy action figure series "RIOBOT" will release the latest product, "RIOBOT Steel Roboco," featuring the strongest maid robot in history! Multiple versions will be available, including a Regular Edition, DX Edition, BAIT Limited DX Edition, and Crying DX Edition, with an anticipated release in December 2022.
Created by manga artist Shuhei Miyazaki, "Me & Roboco" is hailed as a comedic masterpiece following Gintama! A major highlight of the series is its extensive homages (parodies) to works serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump."
The story is set in the near future where beautiful maid robots called "OM (OrderMaid)" are widespread. The protagonist, fifth-grader Bondo Taira, eagerly anticipates his family finally owning a beautiful maid robot. However, the Roboco (ロボコ) that arrives has a muscular physique, terrible cooking skills, can fire beams from her eyes, and loves reading "Weekly Shonen Jump"—an eccentric robot maid... Thus begins the hilarious maid story of an elementary school master!
The "RIOBOT Steel Roboco" stands 12 cm tall, faithfully recreating Roboco's full and robust physique. It features 35 points of articulation throughout the body. In addition to its excellent posability, die-cast alloy parts are used for the knees and shoulders, adding a satisfying weight when handled.
