Hand Scale Girl - Baselard

Frames Arms Girl Baselard has recently joined the Hand Scale Girl series.

Due to Baselard's intricate armor details and the limited part separation in the Hand Scale series, this kit requires a significant amount of time for color correction.

In its original straight-build state, areas such as the thruster nozzles, chest details, and wrist armor lack part separation.

Masking was used for the weapons and wrists, while the thruster nozzles and chest were brush-painted for color correction. The overall appearance after completion is as follows.

Weaponry equipped on the back

The rifle can be removed and used with interchangeable hands. A rabbit tail can also be attached when the thrusters are removed.

Additionally, stocking-clad leg parts are included to recreate the unarmed state.

Review:

The small-scale FAG Baselard boasts incredibly sharp armor lines. However, the extent of color correction required far surpasses other characters; especially the circular detail on the chest, which is difficult to mask and prone to paint bleed when brush-painting. Coupled with the unseparated details across the entire body, all these factors significantly increased the painting time.

With Gourai, Stylet, Architect, and Baselard successively released, the anime lineup is becoming increasingly complete! We eagerly anticipate seeing Jinrai and Hresvelgr in Hand Scale form soon~
