From the well-known Super Minipla (スーパーミニプラ) candy toy model series, the newly evolved and transformed series "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT" (abbreviated as SMP), will release the giant robot "Daidenjin" (ダイデンジン) and the mobile base "Denji Tiger" (デンジタイガー), which support the Denji Sentai members in the classic Japanese tokusatsu series "Super Sentai Series", specifically "Denshi Sentai Denjiman" (電子戦隊デンジマン). They are scheduled for release in December 2022.
"Denshi Sentai Denjiman" was produced by Toei Japan and premiered in 1980, making it the fourth installment in the Super Sentai series. The story recounts that 3000 years ago, Denji Star was annihilated by the "Vader Clan". At that time, they dispatched Denji Island to Japan on Earth. 3000 years later, due to the Vader Clan's invasion, Denji Island's system restarted, and the long-slumbering Denji Dog IC selected five warriors to form the "Denshi Sentai Denjiman" team, fighting to protect Earth.
The five members of the Denji Sentai operate the giant robot "Daidenjin" to battle enemies. It is a high-tech robot created by the Denji Star people, made from Denji Alpha Steel, characterized by the "D" on its chest, and possesses the ability to transform. It primarily takes on its "Denji Fighter" (デンジファイター) flight form. The five members' mobile fortress, "Denji Tiger", is a versatile mothership capable of operating on land, sea, and air. It can house the Denji Fighter and boasts a movement speed of Mach 8.
This SMP "Denshi Sentai Denjiman" Daidenjin and Denji Tiger, released by BANDAI CANDY, not only perfectly recreates their appearances from the original work but also includes detailed transformation mechanisms. Daidenjin can transform into its Denji Fighter form, and its weapon accessories include hand parts, the Denji Ball weapon, a boomerang, and the Denji Sword, among others. Daidenjin is composed of two boxes of parts: Box A (upper body) and Box B (lower body).
