Japan's Prime 1 Studio company, under its popular statue product line "Ultimate Premium Masterline", is scheduled to release a 1/4 scale statue of "Jill Valentine", the protagonist from CAPCOM's horror game "Resident Evil 3 Remake" (BIO HAZARD 3: RE), between October 2023 and January 2024!
"Resident Evil 3" was originally released in 1999 on the first-generation PlayStation console. During its development, it was initially conceived by Shinji Mikami as a spin-off utilizing assets from the second game, but was unexpectedly promoted by higher-ups to become the third main installment, resulting in a shorter overall game length. The timeline is concurrent with Resident Evil 2, but the game shifts to the perspective of Jill Valentine, the protagonist from the first game. In March 2020, a remake was released, redesigning characters such as Jill, Carlos, and Nemesis, and featuring new story developments. While the game content is somewhat shorter compared to the Resident Evil 2 Remake, it remains thrilling and enjoyable.
This 1/4 scale statue of Jill Valentine, produced by Prime 1 Studio, stands approximately 50 cm tall, faithfully recreating her appearance from the Resident Evil 3 Remake game. She is depicted in her default blue vest and long pants, in a dynamic pose running with a gun in one hand. Two interchangeable facial expression parts are included. Behind the stone-stepped base, a zombie, missing its lower half and disemboweled, is realistically pursuing Jill. Every detail on Jill's body, such as the wound near her collarbone, the radio given by Carlos hanging on her, and her gun holster, has been meticulously reproduced. The street lamp next to her can be lit up with batteries, creating an overall strong sense of Raccoon City's disaster.
This product is also available in two versions: a Regular Edition and a DX Deluxe Edition. The difference from the Regular Edition is that the DX Deluxe Edition includes an additional "Zombie Dog" (Cerberus) statue. When displayed together with Jill and Nemesis, the entire scene conveys an even greater sense of disaster survival pressure and atmosphere.
