Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) officially unveiled its brand-new model kit series 'Qpmini' at the KOTOBUKIYA COLLECTION ONLINE new product announcement event held last weekend, simultaneously revealing the painted prototype of the first product from "Frame Arms Girl," "Qpmini Gourai."
'Qpmini' is a model kit product featuring a cute, deformed (chibi) style with an approximate 2.5-head-tall proportion. From its name, it seems like a rebirth of Kotobukiya's long-discontinued 'Cu-poche' articulated figure series, but as a model kit. However, it features an entirely new body design throughout, and its size is significantly more miniature. Compared to the standard 15 cm tall "FAG Gourai," its height only reaches the thigh, making it even smaller than the HAND SCALE palm-sized series.
Accessories are expected to include a shoulder-mounted recoilless rifle, a handheld rocket launcher, and a tactical knife. Furthermore, multiple points across the body feature universal 3mm ports, allowing for customization with separately sold Frame Arms, Frame Arms Girl series, M.S.G, and other Kotobukiya model kit products. The release date for this product is yet to be determined, with detailed product information to be announced later.
