Avenge her sister! Max Factory, a renowned Japanese toy and figure manufacturer, under its popular and well-known action figure series "figma", is scheduled to release an action figure product of "Shinobu Kocho," a character from the popular anime and manga series "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," in June 2023!

The immensely popular manga series "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" (鬼滅の刃), which began serialization in 2016, concluded its run in 2020, but its merchandise continues to maintain strong popularity. Its second anime season, "Entertainment District Arc," premiered in December 2021 and finished airing in February of this year, and news has also recently been announced that the third anime season, "Swordsmith Village Arc," is currently in production.
Shinobu Kocho is the Insect Hashira, one of the nine "Hashira" members of the Demon Slayer Corps, and she uses Insect Breathing. Her physique is petite, and due to her weaker physical strength, she cannot decapitate demons on her own. Her Nichirin Blade has a unique design, with a slender blade and a barbed tip. She excels in pharmacology and poison manufacturing. In the final battle of the Infinity Castle, she confronted "Upper Rank Two, Doma." Having prepared for battle long in advance, she consumed wisteria poison for a year, transforming her own body into a deadly toxin. Through self-sacrifice, she allowed Doma to consume her, poisoning and weakening him. This gave Kanao and Inosuke, who arrived later, the final opportunity to slay him, fulfilling her long-held wish to avenge her sister Kanae, and allowing her soul to finally reunite with her.
This figma Shinobu Kocho stands approximately 14.5 cm tall. Her appearance faithfully recreates Shinobu Kocho's look from the original work. It includes three interchangeable face plates and an additional four pairs of hand parts. Her weapon is Shinobu Kocho's uniquely designed Nichirin Blade. It also comes with butterfly-patterned effect parts for when she performs her techniques, and a display stand. With its rich content and figma's inherent excellent posability, nearly all poses and actions seen in the original work can be faithfully recreated. Fans of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" should definitely consider adding this to their collection.
