Hong Kong toy company Storm Collectibles, which has released numerous action figures based on games, is expected to launch in Q1 2023, the protagonist "Getsu Fuma" from KONAMI's action game "GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon"!
"GetsuFumaDen" (月風魔伝) is a classic action RPG game released by KONAMI in 1987 on the Nintendo Famicom. Its unique overworld map mode, which transforms into traditional 2D side-scrolling stage gameplay upon entering levels, coupled with RPG elements like earning experience points and money, along with characters and backgrounds styled after traditional Japanese yokai tales, and the game's introduction of special 3D mazes and giant boss battles—these numerous elements quickly captivated players at the time.
For many years, numerous players hoped for a sequel to "GetsuFumaDen," but unfortunately, there was no follow-up. Finally, 35 years later, on February 17, 2022, KONAMI collaborated with game company GuruGuru to release the game "GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon". This is a 2D action game with roguelike elements. The story inherits the original worldview, narrating how "Ryukotsuki," who was originally defeated and sealed by "Fuma," the youngest of the Getsu clan's three brothers, resurrected from hell after a thousand years. "Getsu Fuma," the 27th head of the Getsu clan at the time, resolves to once again journey to hell to defeat Ryukotsuki.

This Getsu Fuma figure, released by Hong Kong's STORM COLLECTIBLES, is based on the appearance of the protagonist Getsu Fuma from "GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon." It is materialized in a 1/12 scale size. Getsu Fuma's overall design strongly embodies the style of Japanese yokai and specters, especially the chest armor, which is reproduced with remarkable realism. Regarding accessories, in addition to five sets of interchangeable hand parts, there are also six weapon accessories, including a katana, sword, spear, and staff.
