Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY Company's popular action figure series "MAFEX" has announced the "MAFEX THE BATMAN" product, based on the latest Batman movie "The Batman". The suggested retail price is 10,780 Japanese Yen, and it is scheduled for release in July 2023.
The new generation "The Batman 2022" film, starring Robert Pattinson and directed by Matt Reeves, tells the story of Bruce Wayne, who for two years has donned the Batsuit, lurking in the night and becoming an avenger. To pursue the Riddler, a killer who has been systematically murdering Gotham City's elite, Batman launches an investigation into the underworld, encountering classic characters such as Catwoman and Penguin along the way, and gradually delving into Gotham City's dark core...
The "MAFEX No.188 THE BATMAN" action figure stands approximately 16 cm tall, recreating the armored appearance seen in the movie "The Batman". The stitching texture of the leather bat cowl is also subtly presented, and the fabric cape allows for more fluid and natural posing! It comes with four interchangeable head sculpts: a neutral expression face, a gritted teeth face, and two faces recreating Robert Pattinson's likeness after removing the cowl, including a neutral face and a smoky eye makeup face. It also includes various weapons such as firearms and a bat-grapple. The bat-shuriken on the chest is detachable, allowing for recreation of scenes from the film!
