From China, the officially licensed statue collectible brand HEX Collectibles, under its Ultimate Diorama Statue series, will launch a powerful new work themed on "Naruto: Shippuden": the "Gaara of the Sand" 1/8 scale diorama statue! Limited to 750 pieces worldwide, it is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2023.
Gaara, who appears in the "Naruto" series, bears the title "Gaara of the Sand." He is the son of the Fourth Kazekage, Rasa. At birth, the giant, raccoon-like Tailed Beast, "One-Tails Shukaku," was sealed within him. While becoming a Jinchuriki, Gaara's mother sacrificed her life. Although he possessed the powerful ability to manipulate sand at will, he suffered from severe insomnia, always having deep dark circles under his eyes. Even his father viewed Gaara as a threat and sought to assassinate him. His lonely and tragic childhood experiences caused Gaara to lose his emotions. He carved the character "love" (愛) onto his forehead with sand and unleashed Shukaku's power, becoming a person who "loves only himself and fights only for himself."
The "Gaara" 1/8 scale diorama statue is inspired by the battle between Gaara and Deidara. Standing at 62cm tall, it depicts Gaara amidst a sand waterfall, with sand scattering from the giant gourd on his back gradually forming the figure of the Tailed Beast Shukaku. The rough, sandy texture is incredibly realistic and detailed, featuring a lifelike granular feel. The irregular shape of the base, accompanied by bursting debris, further enhances the sense of sand flow and overall dynamism! Gaara's attire features realistic textures, and his cool, solemn battle expression conveys a vivid sense of presence!
