Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's Q-version articulated figure series 'Nendoroid' today announced the latest product from the popular anime "SpongeBob SquarePants," the "Nendoroid SpongeBob SquarePants," with an anticipated release in April 2023.
Unlike most characters in the series that share common specifications, the "Nendoroid SpongeBob SquarePants" features a unique, entirely new structural design, perfectly recreating his square, yellow, and flexible sponge body. Through rich paintwork, it reproduces his signature shorts-wearing boy outfit and sparkling large eyes. The unique face parts are designed in two sections: the eyeballs and the entire square face, including 2 different mouth shapes and 3 different eyeball designs, allowing for 6 different expression combinations to recreate SpongeBob's highly comical appearance from the show.
Accessories include SpongeBob's beloved pet snail, "Gary," with vibrant colors faithfully reproduced through paintwork. Additionally, parts such as the "Krusty Krab employee hat," "spatula," and "Krabby Patty" can be attached to SpongeBob, allowing you to recreate SpongeBob's triumphant expression when he fries up a perfect Krabby Patty!
