Japan's MAX FACTORY (Max Factory Co., Ltd.) popular action figure series "figma", following releases from VTUBER group hololive production such as "Usada Pekora" and "Shirogane Noel", will now feature hololive 3rd Generation member "figma Houshou Marine"! The suggested retail price is 10,800 JPY, with an estimated release in June 2023.
Houshou Marine (宝鐘マリン), a member of hololive 3rd Generation (hololive Fantasy), is, by lore, a girl who loves gems, treasures, and money, aiming to become a pirate to seek out riches. To purchase a pirate ship and set sail, she is currently working as a VTuber on land (essentially a mountain bandit). Her usual demeanor and speech reveal a deep otaku background, leading fans to often question her stated age of 17, which has become a running gag.
The "figma Houshou Marine" action figure stands approximately 135mm tall. Its sculpting and coloring faithfully recreate the Captain's charming black silk bodysuit and sheer stockings. Her costume accessories include a large pirate hat and a cape jacket. With interchangeable 'moe sleeve' arm parts, you can display the Captain in her adorable poses! Additionally, four face plates are included: a cute winking face, a captivating 'horny' face, a tearful dejected face, and a slightly intimidating glaring face. Combined with the interchangeable bangs part featuring an an eye patch, you can recreate her eye-patch-wearing look! The dazzling "Skull-kun" is, of course, also included! Houshou Pirate Crew, enjoy the Captain in all her forms, haa-su haa-su!
