The Japanese brand MECHA SMILE's 'MODEROID' assembly model series recently announced the latest product from the RPG 'The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel', the "Valimar, the Ashen Knight", scheduled for release in January 2023.
Activated by protagonist Rean Schwarzer, Valimar, the Ashen Knight is one of seven colossal knight-type mobile weapons created in legend to divide and seal the Steel Treasure into seven containers. It possesses self-awareness, can perform agile movements comparable to humans, and reflects the combat skills of its activator. Valimar is equipped with a tachi made from Mure Ore, used to execute the Ougi (secret techniques) of the Eight Leaves One Blade style learned by Rean.
"MODEROID Valimar, the Ashen Knight" is crafted with multi-color molded parts and partially pre-painted parts, faithfully reproducing its sharp, heavy armor and intricately sculpted details. Once assembled, the kit stands approximately 16.5 cm tall, features articulated joints throughout its body, and includes various interchangeable hand parts and its main weapon, the tachi made from Mure Ore, allowing for dynamic combat poses from the game.
