Max Factory, a Japanese model manufacturer, recently announced the latest product from their popular articulated figure series 'figma': 'figma Empress [BLACK ROCK SHOOTER]' from the anime 'BLACK★★ROCK SHOOTER DAWN FALL', scheduled for release in April 2023.
'BLACK★★ROCK SHOOTER DAWN FALL', which began airing in April 2022, is a completely new anime based on the 'BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER' series characters drawn by Japanese illustrator huke, overturning the settings of previous derivative works. The story describes how in the year 2062, humanity's large-scale labor automation project completely failed, and the core artificial intelligence of the project, "Artemis," declared war on humanity, leaving Earth in ruins for 20 years. One day, a powerful combat-capable amnesiac girl known as "Empress" awakens from an underground research facility. Her mission is to quickly destroy the orbital elevator connecting Earth and the Moon to prevent the mechanical army's invasion, becoming humanity's last hope.
The 'figma Empress [BLACK ROCK SHOOTER]' features a new design with full mobility from the series, reproduced as a 14 cm tall articulated figure. Its entire body utilizes figma's original non-slip joint parts for flexible posing. It comes with various interchangeable parts such as a 'blank face', 'angry face', 'smiling face', and her signature 'blue flame effect bangs'. These can be combined with accessories like a 'handgun' and 'shooting effect' to create dynamic poses. Furthermore, the cool 'coilgun' and 'coilgun stand' are included to recreate powerful shooting scenes!
The dedicated mobile vehicle Black Trike, which pairs with this product, is also being released simultaneously. Additionally, customers who order 'figma Empress [BLACK ROCK SHOOTER]' from the 'GOODSMILE Online Shop' will receive a limited bonus: a 'Logo Design L-size figma Stand'!
