Produced by Japan's PLEX company and distributed by X-PLUS company, the popular soft vinyl figure series 'DefoReal (デフォリアル)', which blends intricate realistic details with adorable deformed proportions, recently announced the upcoming release of "Godzilla (2004)" from "Godzilla: Final Wars", scheduled for January 2023.
Appearing in the 2004 film "Godzilla: Final Wars", Godzilla is the strongest monster, born from the destruction of Earth's environment, who has repeatedly brought the world to the brink of destruction. Twenty years before the story begins, he was frozen in Antarctica by the Gotengo. It wasn't until the Xiliens manipulated monsters to devastate the world that the Earth Defense Force's new Gotengo awakened Godzilla to defeat monsters worldwide, dubbing him the "Earth's Strongest Weapon". His physique is more robust and muscular, capable of agile movements like saving a soccer ball, excelling in close-quarters combat, and possessing immense power in his atomic breath, capable of defeating almost every monster with a single shot.
The "DEFOREAL Godzilla (2004)" recreates the fierce appearance from the film with sharp eyes and exposed fangs in an adorable, low-proportioned deformed style. It meticulously sculpts the realistic, rough skin, dorsal fin textures, and the entire body's muscular lines, with paintwork reproducing the yellowish color of his claws and teeth. Furthermore, the limited edition sold through X-PLUS's official channel "Shonen RIC" includes an additional "Minilla" figure, approximately 5cm tall, also crafted in a low-proportioned style and replicating its distinctive large-eyed look.
