Good Smile Company's popular Nendoroid line, featuring over a thousand different posable figures, is set to release a new addition from the TV anime "My Dress-Up Darling": the Nendoroid Marin Kitagawa. Priced at 6,500 JPY, the figure is scheduled for a March 2023 release.

Created by Japanese manga artist Shinichi Fukuda, "My Dress-Up Darling" (その着せ替え人形は恋をする, also known as "Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru" or "Bisque Doll" for short) is a manga series centered around cosplay. The story follows high school student Wakana Gojo, who, influenced by his Hina doll artisan grandfather, is deeply passionate about crafting Hina dolls and possesses skilled tailoring and makeup techniques. By chance, his classmate, the beautiful gal Marin Kitagawa, discovers his talent for making doll clothes and asks him to design cosplay outfits for her to wear to cosplay events. Thus begins their romantic story.

The Nendoroid Marin Kitagawa stands approximately 10 cm tall. This adorable chibi-style figure perfectly captures Marin's signature gradient long hair, her distinctive uniform with the tied-up shirt hem, and a wealth of gal accessories like her rings and earrings. Her sparkling eyes and makeup are also charmingly recreated! The figure comes with three interchangeable face plates: a cheerful smiling face to show her bright personality, a captivating winking face, and an "I love it!" face with puffed cheeks, expressing her excitement. To highlight Marin's otaku side, accessories include the "Slippery Girls 2" video game case and a "Shizuku-tan Dakimakura" (body pillow). Other essential gal accessories like her leopard print mirror and a special omurice with "Sorry" written in ketchup are also included, allowing fans to recreate iconic scenes from the series!
