BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collector's toy division recently announced the latest product from the popular action figure 'S.H.Figuarts' series, 'Zenkaizer BLACK' from 'Avataro Sentai Donbrothers', scheduled for release on November 15, 2022. This item is a commemorative product for the opening of Bandai's official exhibition event, TAMASHII NATION 2022, and is planned for a lottery sale on PREMIUM BANDAI at a later date.
Zenkaizer BLACK, appearing in 'Avataro Sentai Donbrothers', is the form taken by Kaito Goshikida, the protagonist of the previous series 'Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger', upon his reappearance. While the color scheme has been changed to black and white, the character's appearance is fundamentally the same as in the previous work. However, compared to the bright and cheerful personality of the previous Kaito Goshikida, this world's Kaito Goshikida is remarkably calm and composed.
The 'S.H.Figuarts Zenkaizer BLACK' fundamentally reuses the previously released standard version, with the original vibrant colors changed to a subdued palette composed of gold, silver, black, and white. The most distinctive feature of the product is the cape on the back, recreated using ultra-thin PVC plastic sheets. The handle on the weapon, the 'Geartlinger', can also actually rotate like the prop in the show. Additionally, it comes with four pairs of interchangeable hands, allowing for the recreation of Zenkaizer BLACK's calm and composed poses.
