Japan's high-end statue brand Prime 1 Studio, under its 1/3 scale "Museum Masterline" series, has unveiled its new "Guts Berserker Armor "Unleash"" to commemorate the re-serialization of Berserk, now helmed by Kentaro Miura's apprentice team "STUDIO GAGA". Both a regular and a DX version will be released, with an estimated shipping date in Q4 2023.
In Berserk, when protagonist Guts battles the "Flame Dragon" Grunbeld, he dons the "Berserker Armor," a cursed armor forged by the Dwarves. This armor intensely amplifies the deep-seated hatred and resentment dormant within him. The exhilarating rage numbs all pain, replaced by a ferocious, powerful impulse, allowing Guts to fight wildly with strength that transcends human limits! He effortlessly sends the Flame Dragon flying and shatters shields that even cannonballs couldn't penetrate.
The "Museum Masterline Guts Berserker Armor "Unleash"" statue is the last product supervised by Kentaro Miura. To achieve a deeper level of sculptural expression, it is crafted in a grand 1/3 scale, standing an impressive 121 cm tall. It authentically captures the sharp lines and weighty feel of the Berserker Armor, complemented by intricate equipment, a tattered cape, and the striking "Dragon Slayer" sword, fully showcasing Guts' immense presence! The partially whitened hair, the fabric-textured cloak, and the battle damage and bloodstains throughout are all rendered in breathtaking detail.
Additionally, the DX version includes interchangeable arms, allowing for various sword-wielding poses, along with head sculpts featuring a serious face, a smiling face, an insane laugh, and an original manga face head sculpt exclusive to the Prime 1 Studio official online store, showcasing Guts in various states!
The corpses and skulls on the base vividly convey the dark worldview of Berserk, where the mortal realm is encroached upon by the astral world. Coupled with the built-in LED light effects, the overall piece achieves an even greater sense of realism.
