Appearance Showcase
Today, we're reviewing the BeastBOX BB-15CL Crocodile from 52Toys. This product is a recolor version of BB-15 Teardrop. Previously, BeastBOX has collaborated with Chimelong to release several products, and this collaboration further embodies the concept of crocodile species protection, making it more significant in real-world terms. The product's appearance style is also quite close to that of real-life crocodiles. Let's see what sparks this collaboration between 52Toys and Chimelong will ignite!

The side shows some conventional play demonstrations.

Remarkable reproductive ability

Appearance Showcase
The overall style leans towards dark green, and it also recreates the white belly of real-life crocodiles.

Head
The original version's teardrops are gone, and there's detailed fragmented paintwork on both sides of the neck to recreate scale details. The eyes use yellow separate parts, close to reality. Inside the Mouth
The teeth are rounder than the original version.

The chin is printed with the silver Chimelong logo. Legs
The mechanical structure paintwork from the original version has been removed. Body Side

Back
Brownish-yellow scale paintwork. BellyTail
No paintwork, and there's a noticeable gap between the connection point and the body, which creates a somewhat disjointed feeling.

Accessories Showcase
Includes two transparent yellow harpoon guns. They can be stored in the abdominal space.

They can also be mounted into the holes on the back. Articulation Showcase
The head can be lifted within a small range. Limbs
Have a certain degree of side swing, and can rotate vertically and horizontally.

Tail Section
The tail itself has a smaller bending angle, making it unable to recreate the twisted state of the tail during crawling as depicted in illustrations. This is a bit of a pity.

BOX Play Mode Showcase
The storage of the head and tail is quite clever.

POSE Showcase
Due to articulation limitations, posing is still a bit challenging.

The following are unofficial play modes, just for fun.

Summary
Unlike the more sci-fi and individualistic style of the original version, this crocodile is one of the few BeastBOX products that closely resembles a real animal's appearance, capturing the crocodile's demeanor with just a few strokes. There are no significant changes in the main body's playability, but some optimizations can be felt in areas like joint feel, where the head and tail joints won't easily detach during transformation. The transformation logic is easy to understand, making it convenient to pick up and play with, and the BOX form is also quite neat, making it a product suitable for repeated transformations. It's a pity that there isn't much improvement in articulation; if the head and tail articulation were improved, it could better recreate the crocodile's posture. Currently, the articulation is somewhat better than nothing, but it's certainly sufficient for static display. Friends who like it can give it a try.
